The Ones Who Are Not Worth It

Running from your conscience?
You left your shoes untied

A pirate chasing a misty mermaid
Forgetting the gold he left behind

No worries, it’ll be here when you drift back
For what is worthy remains for the dedication you lack

When you trip and fall, tie your laces
And maybe correct one of your two faces

~ One of my all time favorite ORIGINAL “screw you” poems ;P
