Posts Tagged ‘hot’

So recently a friend of mine was like “A girl in your AP Biology class is so hot.”

And I was thinking, “Who is he talking about? Everybody is smart in my class, there’s no one who dresses like a slut.”

Forgive me if my thoughts are too blunt or cruel, but you must understand, these were my thoughts, they came automatically, and unfortunately honestly.

Later, my friend told me the name of the girl he thoughts was “hot”. I was like “Oh, her? She’s pretty,”

And he goes, “Yeah, that’s what I said,”

I rolled my eyes and said, “No, you said she was hot.”

He looks at me with a dumbstruck face. “Isn’t that the same thing?”

So I sighed and explained to him the difference:

No, they are not the same thing. When guys call girl’s “hot” it’s usually because they have a “hot body”. As in, tiny waist, big breasts, and a high round butt.

Pretty would be a pretty face- natrually pretty- good features that don’t need a hot body.

So no, my friend, they are not the same thing.

In fact, calling a pretty girl “hot” is pretty much an insult. Pretty girls don’t need a “hot body” because they are pretty. Hot girls are usually not very pretty by the time guys have dragged their eyes up to their face from their body. And that’s why they work so hard to flash off their “hot body”.

Duh.

Even the sun is sweaty

Well there you go.

Last day of school.

Over and done with.

With two months of summer vacation awaiting us.

You know, I remember when I had last days of schools in elementary and middle schools.

Even if we knew we were all going to see each other in September, we would still share our “Have a great summer” and “I’m going to miss you so much” lines.

It was like tradition, custom, just something you did at the last day of school to finish off the year.

But the funny thing is, in high school we don’t do that.

Today, after our last day of school (half-day) me and my friends went to the mall to hang out and spend some quality time together before break.

However, when we went there everybody sort of split up.

I don’t know how, I don’t know why, but we somehow split up into groups of two’s and three’s.

Given, we did end up meeting up together and leaving together.

But on the way home, everyone just kind of left and got off at their own stop.

Saying the usual bye’s, like it was another school day and we would see each other again the next day.

But we wouldn’t, we won’t see each other until two months later, a whole tanning, hot, sizzling, summer vacation later.

Doesn’t that deserve a little “Have a nice summer!” if not “I’ll miss you”.

Well whatever, I said “Have a nice summer to my friends.”

As for the miss you part, well they are obviously not into that so I guess I’ll let it go.

Besides, who knows if I’ll really miss them anyway, that’s a whole lot of ‘people problems’ that I don’t have to deal with for two months.

Hey guys.. remember when I said I would do that fitness thing every Wednesday?

Well I’m still doing it and all, but it’s just, I didn’t do it this particular Wednesday. I promise you, I was totally going to do it. I had the sneakers, the socks, the t-shirt, and the hair tie. It’s just that, well I got a little bit distracted.

First of all, my friends were not there, they had to take a practice regents exam. And also, it is very hot right now in New York. I was sweating already just from walking through the hallway. A workout was not needed 😉

And also, in the cafeteria, they were playing Ping-Pong. I had never played Ping-Pong and today I found out why: I ultimately sucked at the game. But I guess that is because I have never played and am a newbie.

But I wanted to try it anyways. So I learned how to play, and I would love to say I caught on soon enough and didn’t make a fool out of myself. But I think lying on my personal blog would be kind of pathetic and foolish. So I’ll give you the truth: I did not catch on and I completely made a total fool of myself.

But you know what, I learned something new. So something came out of it. Maybe I didn’t work out this Wednesday. Maybe the next time this week when I look in the mirror and see a bulge of blubber I will regret it. But I will also remember how sweaty and tired I was coming off just after a Ping-Pong game- and I assure you, Ping-Pong is not thatmuch of a tiresome sport.

So the weather just wasn’t in favor. Not to mention I just wasn’t in favor.

So no freaky fitness this week I guess. At least I learned something, right? 😀

** Guys, I swear I could’ve sworn I published this yesterday, I guess it didn’t publish, really REALLY sorry about the delay

So there is going to be a heat wave in New York this week. After many months of freezing weather and low temperatures, everyone’s ready for some sun. The furry jackets are going away. The flip flops and sandals are coming out. The Sun is coming up. The shades are coming down. The air conditioning is coming on. Oh yeah, and the clothes are coming off.

Haha, don’t over-read that. True, there are girls that take the time to find different, creative ways to show off as much skin as they can when just the littlest bit of summer peaks into the sky. But besides that, it is pretty nice out. And right now, it’s nice, it’s okay, everyone’s loving it.

But what’s going to happen when it starts to get even warmer and school is still open? Unfortunately the school I attend doesn’t have air conditioning. Well except for the teachers cafeteria, the teachers offices, the assistant principals office, the staffs office, and maybe a selected few classrooms. Which ultimately sucks for the students.

Sure we all love the weather outside, but no one wants to sit in a hot stuffy classroom, with no air conditioning, just itching to get home and have a nice cold shower.

And that’s why I don’t really mind going to school when its winter. We all bundle up and cover ourselves as best as we can until we get to the warmth of the building and then we are fine. But I guess there is the hassle of putting on so much stuff just to get out of your front door.

We only have a few months of school for summer weather anyways. And thank god for that. I’m sure I’ll have to find more than a few ways to keep myself cool while the heat “waves” over New York.
